Welcome
Welcome to Golden Hearts Crestmead Centre 1.
Located opposite St Francis College in Crestmead, this centre supports children from 6 weeks to 5 years — through Nursery, Tiny Tot, Toddlers, Junior Kindy and Kindergarten — and also offers OSHC for children of school age. It's a place built around the everyday rhythm of growing up — routines that feel steady, educators who take the time to really know each child, and a real balance of indoor learning and outdoor exploration.
As Golden Hearts takes on this centre, the values stay consistent with everything else we stand for: safety, belonging, genuine partnership with families, and a real connection to the natural world. What makes this centre distinct is its own community — the Crestmead families who already call it home, and the children who grow here year after year, often from their very first day of care right through to their first day of school.
Our educators are committed to ongoing learning and to building respectful relationships where children feel safe, known and supported.

The environment
Spaces designed for curiosity and connection.

Nature & outdoor learning
Room to move, explore and notice the world.
The outdoor spaces at this centre give children room to move, dig, climb and investigate at their own pace — building physical confidence alongside a genuine curiosity about the natural world, from our youngest Nursery children right through to our OSHC group. Alongside our nature-based play, children also take part in a science-focused program, a music program, and swimming lessons through trusted external providers.
Daily wellbeing
Care throughout the day.
Meals & belongings
Meals, snacks and a sunhat are provided daily. Families are asked to bring a spare change of clothes, a water bottle, nappies and suitable bedding. For children in Nursery and Tiny Tot, please also bring bottles and formula or breastmilk. A comfort item — such as a soft toy or blanket — is always welcome at any age.
Read our family guidanceRest & routines
Individual rest routines are discussed directly with families as part of settling in, and are approached according to each child's age and needs — from Nursery rest times through to quiet periods for our older children.
Child safety
Safety, wellbeing and trust.
Every Golden Hearts centre shares the same commitment to child safety — secure entry, attentive supervision, careful staff recruitment and open communication with families. Our full approach to child safety applies across both Crestmead centres.
